For over 35 years DCI has been recognized as a leader in childcare insurance, providing services to over 200,000 family childcare providers and countless Family Childcare Agencies and organizations both as insurance brokers and advocates for the childcare industry.

As an Advocate, DCI continues an active role to enhance the welfare of the Family Childcare Provider industry. Its President, Joe Silverman, has been called upon to testify at Congressional Hearings in Washington, at State legislatures, and at numerous regulatory meetings.

Joe is also the Coordinator for the Family Child Care Policy Advisory Committee which represents Family Childcare Association's goal to improve the business climate of Family Childcare Providers.
